When worries, fears, or sadness, interfere with everyday functioning such as sleep, work or play; or when you feel stuck or unable to obtain your goals, it is time to reach out. Some people choose therapy as an alternative to using medications or to treat an emotional disturbance such as depression or anxiety. There are also individuals that use therapy to help with unexpected life changes such as relational difficulties or work-related issues. People from all walks of life seek therapy and coaching. It is important to remember that seeking support is an admiral trait. You are making a commitment to yourself and those you love to have a better life. Through a consultation, you will be better able to determine if therapy or coaching is right for you. If you decide not to use either, the consultation will not be billed.
Appropriate use of therapy can be a powerful and exciting path to a more satisfying life.
While therapy addresses a client’s need for professional help to work towards healing, recovery and issue resolution, coaching works with clients who want a detached partner to help then evolve and enhance their lives. Therapists are experts in medical and behavioral science and are trained to treat diagnosable conditions. Coaching is designed to support the client as they achieve a certain desired outcome. Both are excellent resources. Whether providing coaching or therapy, I am required to follow the ethics and standards of my practice.
You can email me or call me to tell me your name, situation and phone number and why you want telephone therapy. I will then consider your request and then call you to discuss whether or not telephone therapy or coaching would be appropriate for you. If it is, I would send you forms to fill out and send prior to our first session. We will then establish a time and date for your session. After I have received your fee for the session, we will meet by phone.
You are responsible for long distance charges.
